Elliot Walker:
- I love the way he uses molten glass to make fruits and other foods look realistic, as well as put a "twist" into it.
Haejin Lee:
- I admire the way she makes sculptures "unravel" and puts a new perspective on everyday things.
In art this week we did an activity where we took pictures using forced perspective. I really enjoyed doing that because you had to be creative with what you could do and how you could make it look realistic and not fake. Also, on the first day of class we did a team activity where we had to come up with a theme and use a non-traditional material to create something. We chose rope which was probably one of the hardest materials, and created a head and tentacles by tying a knot at the top to create an octopus. This week I had to be creative and plan accordingly for what I wanted to do.
