2. My thinking on original art has changed because I always thought that original art was something that the artist came up with individually. I always thought it was wrong to use someone else's idea as your own to make an art piece out of it, but if you think about it, nothing is ever 100% original. The idea had to spark from somewhere, whether it was something you saw or heard about. I now know that all artist's steal from other artists to create something new. They don't copy exactly what they see, but they enhance it or change it around, so they are able to call it their own.
3. The challenges I had was coming up with the idea of what I wanted to do. I definitely struggle when it comes to being creative about something. I am a pretty creative person, but I am not good when it comes to making decisions on what my artwork is going to be. I would say I was pretty successful with this drawing, but I really enjoyed doing the character remake. It was really fun taking some of your favorite characters and changing them into something new. I think I was able to make the snake fairly realistic, especially the head. I struggled a bit with the rope and making that look real, and not cartoonish, and I don't think I succeeded too well with that.
