1. There are many different ways to interpret line, way more than I knew. You can have a straight line, a curvy line, a jagged line, lines of all shapes and sizes. When I first started this unit I interpreted line as only being straight, not a circle. I learned that lines are used in a lot of things. For my final Zendoodle, with the raindrops, all I used were lines. All the designs are made up of all different lines. I have circles, skinny lines, zig-zags, curvy lines, thick lines. When you really think about it most of art is made of lines. The artist's use all kind of techniques to make their art something special, and adding lines helps to add contrast, and variety.
2. I feel pretty good about my final artwork. I think it looks kind of interesting with the raindrops coming out of the cloud, but they are all filled with different looking designs. I really like that I used multiple colors, I feel it helps for the drawing to stand out a bit. I also like some of the designs I used, because they look interesting and it was fun to draw different designs and have them all come together. I also like the concept of the design being raindrops coming out of a cloud, especially with all the weather we've been having lately! I feel I could've maybe tried to fill in the background space a little more, but I didn't want it to be overwhelming and to have the raindrops be lost in the background design.
